Welcome to the JRN 521 Blog! My name is Jeffrey Sauger and I’ll be teaching Seminar in News Photography this semester. I’ve been a professional photographer for over 30 years. I look forward to sharing the knowledge I’ve gained from documenting Iraqi refugees returning home, the plight of independent Black family-owned farms and following a young Detroit through mandatory Summer School.
